Products
In order for the highly soft petroleum bitumen to remain elastic even in the cold, air is blown into it to oxidize it. Blowing hot air into the pure bitumen in the final stage of the refining process produces blown bitumen (Rubbery Grade). In this process, hot air at a temperature of 200 to 300 degrees Celsius is blown into the bitumen chamber through perforated pipes.As a result of this process, the hydrogen atoms in the hydrocarbon molecules of bitumen combine with oxygen in the air, and with the formation of water, polymerization occurs, and bitumen with the properties of mineral bitumen is formed.
Bitumen 6070 is one of the types of bitumen produced in refinery companies and the most common application for this product is in the field of road construction and construction.
This type of bitumen is considered one of the export bitumens of Iran and is exported to various countries including China, India, Armenia, etc.
In general, bitumens are found naturally, either in nature or in oil refineries, from crude oil tar under certain conditions. Hard bitumen is created by heating loose bitumen in a distillation tower to 170 degrees and then aerating it.Thus, hard bitumen is a petroleum derivative obtained from petroleum tar in distillation towers. Given that the softening point of hard bitumen is at 90 degrees Celsius and its penetration degree is 15/15 mm, it is also called 90/15 bitumen.
MC250 bitumen solution is produced by mixing bitumens with a degree of penetration of petroleum hydrocarbons. The viscosity of this type of bitumen is measured with the help of a viscosity device. This type of bitumen should not be overheated, otherwise it will cause its oxidation, and direct flame should be avoided for heating it.
It has been found that by mixing two or more polymers, a mixture of polymers can be obtained that, in addition to having the properties of the original polymer, also overcomes its weaknesses. In principle, the properties of this polymer can be improved by using a polymer that has the desired properties and mixing it with another polymer.
