Blown bitumens

One of the types of bitumen produced by Kia Gostar Ahura Shargh Company is blown bitumen, which is less sensitive to temperature, and its applied grade is used for filling cracks and paving concrete.The method of producing these bitumens is to subject pure semi-solid bitumens to compression reactions by blowing pressurized air at a temperature of 200 to 300 degrees Celsius, and produce solid bitumens with a lower penetration rate than the initial bitumen, called blown bitumens.The types of these bitumens are: 25/85 R, 15/90 R, which indicate the penetration rates of 25 and 15, and the softness points of 85 and 90 of these bitumens.
