Soluble bitumen

Soluble bitumens are used for repair and road construction operations for penetrating and surface coatings, surface asphalt, cold factory asphalt or mixed on site, as well as other repair operations, including sealing asphalt cracks.
These bitumens are classified based on their setting speed, sublimation of volatile substances, and type of solvents, which are divided into three main groups:
RC quick-setting bitumens
MC retarder bitumens
SC slow setting bitumens
Among the bitumens produced at Kia Gostar Ahura Shargh Company are soluble bitumens, which are obtained by mixing pure bitumens with petroleum solvents and change the state of the bitumen from solid or semi-solid to liquid.
These bitumens are prepared by dissolving pure bitumen in substances such as kerosene or similar solvents, and the sublimation rate of these solvents is slower and longer than that of gasoline solvent in fast-setting bitumens.
